Double J Dog Ranch’s Mission

To rescue, re-home or offer sanctuary to double merle Aussie's and other special needs dogs in jeopardy of euthanasia. Offer hospice care as an alternative to euthanasia for dogs at municipal shelters. Educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter, unethical breeding practices, and what wonderful pets animals with special needs are.

After all, they don't know they're any different.......

About Our Program

This special place, located in beautiful Hauser Lake, Idaho is Double J Dog Ranch. We are the Inland Northwest's Premier Sanctuary and Re-homing center for dogs with special needs. At DJDR our focus is on the unique needs of each dog. This includes specialized vet care, training, therapies, acupuncture, end of life care and nourishing their souls...

We only accept dogs with special needs into our program. However, we do not focus on their disabilities or hardships, but rather celebrate their abilities and happily ever afters in their new homes.

Special Needs Dogs are perfect in every way that matters. After all, they don't know they are any different...
